1. Making a booking

   A booking is confirmed once we have your date, your details and your deposit. Until the deposit is paid the vehicle is not held for you.

2. Deposit

   A deposit is required to confirm every booking. The amount is on your quote, and the balance is due before or on the day of the hire as agreed when you book.

3. Hire time

   Your hire starts at the pick up time on your booking, not when the last passenger arrives. Rates are $800 for the first hour, $600 for the second and $400 for the third, including GST.

4. Running over and waiting time

   If the booking runs past the agreed finish time, or the vehicle is kept waiting, extra time is charged at $100 per 15 minutes.

5. Changes

   Changes to a confirmed booking need at least a week's notice and depend on the vehicle being free. We will always try to move a booking rather than lose it.

6. Cancelling

   If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can. Deposits cover the date we have held for you and the work already done on your booking, so a late cancellation may mean the deposit is not returned. What applies to your booking is set out on your quote.

7. Bringing your own drinks

   Guests over 18 may bring their own drinks. We ask for cans or plastic rather than glass, and nothing is opened while the vehicle is moving. School formal bookings are alcohol free.

8. No smoking and no drugs

   Smoking, vaping and illegal drugs are not permitted in the vehicles at any time. If it happens, the hire can be ended with no refund.

9. Behaviour

   If anyone in the group behaves in a way that puts the chauffeur, the passengers or the vehicle at risk, the chauffeur may end the hire. No refund is given when a hire ends this way.

10. Mess and cleaning

    Please leave the vehicle as you found it. If it is left needing more than a normal clean, a cleaning charge applies and is billed to the person who made the booking.

11. Breakages and damage

    The person who makes the booking is responsible for any damage caused by the group, inside or outside the vehicle, including fittings, lighting and sound equipment. Repairs and replacements are charged at cost.

12. Passenger numbers

    Golden Sunset carries 16 passengers and Pearl White carries 14. We cannot carry more people than the vehicle is licensed for, and the chauffeur cannot make an exception on the night.

13. Children

    Children are welcome when an adult is travelling with them. If you need a child seat, tell us when you book so we can sort it out beforehand.

14. Luggage

    These are passenger vehicles, so luggage space is limited. If your group is travelling with bags, tell us how many when you book.

15. If a vehicle becomes unavailable

    If a vehicle cannot run because of a breakdown or something outside our control, we arrange a replacement where we can, or refund what you have paid.

16. Trips outside the Gold Coast

    Bookings that start or finish outside the Gold Coast, such as Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Byron Bay or Ballina, are quoted with the travel time included, and a minimum hire applies. Your quote shows the whole figure before you pay anything.

17. Your details

    We use what you send us to quote and run your booking, nothing else. The privacy policy has the detail.

These terms apply to every booking. Anything specific to your booking, including the deposit amount, is written on your quote before you pay.
