Formal Car Hire Gold Coast, in short
Formal car hire on the Gold Coast comes down to one question for most parents: how do you get the whole group there together, on time, and safely. Nair's Hummer answers it with one vehicle. The 16 seat Golden Sunset takes the group from a single pick up address, arrives early enough for photographs, and drops at the door of the venue. School formal bookings are $800 an hour including GST, which is about $50 a student across 16, and most groups book one hour. Every formal booking is alcohol free with no exceptions, the chauffeur is licensed and stays with the vehicle for the whole booking, and the vehicle is insured. Queensland formal season runs August to November and again in February, and Saturdays in those windows go first.

Formal night runs to a timetable that nobody controls: hair, photographs at somebody's house, the drive, the doors opening at a set time. A single vehicle with a licensed chauffeur takes the hardest part of that off the parents, because there is one pick up address, one plan and one person to message.
The Golden Sunset seats sixteen. In formal wear, sixteen is a full car, so if the dresses are long it is worth counting the group again before you book.

How many students fit in a Hummer limo?
Sixteen in the Golden Sunset and fourteen in the Pearl White. In formal wear, sixteen is a full car.
How much does a formal car cost on the Gold Coast?

Is alcohol allowed on a formal booking?
No. School formal bookings are alcohol free, with no exceptions. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle and will end the hire if alcohol is brought on board.
Is the driver licensed, and is the vehicle insured?
Yes to both. Every chauffeur is licensed and every vehicle is insured. Ask any operator to put that in writing before you pay a deposit, including us.

We arrange a replacement vehicle where we can. It is the question worth asking any operator before you pay, not after.

Yes. A second pick up can be built into the run. It changes the hours you need rather than the way the booking works.
